Hello there!
I am Lasse. This page is a creative outlet for everything I love to do, which is mostly experimenting in my homelab, notetaking and constantly learning to improve. Find my most recent articles below. You can also check my current fragments and what I’m up to /now in general.

TIL about the naming scheme of systemd network interfaces while reading the Proxmox VE documentation to setup a new node!
They always appear to be random letters and numbers, but (surprise, surprise) there is a schema behind it. The related man page man systemd.net-naming-scheme tells you everything you need to know. For example enp0s31f6 translates to PCI ethernet network device on PCI bus 0, slot 31, function 6. Learn more about it in the systemd.net-naming-schme man page.
First “real” camping trip of my life completed. After 6 full days on the foil, my body screams for a break. Unloading the car was a challenge. But I liked the freedom and simplicity a lot. So much tha I am now figuring out how this could impact my lifestyle and sorting through the things I’ve learned from this.
Also: Finally got my VDS WIngfoil license! :)
Just learned how repositories are structured for Kubernetes deployments via Flux. This stuff solves every problem I’ve had when creating separate deployment environments in Docker. Time to rebuild the Homelab again!
